Who are sensory neurodivergent people? - Highly Sensitive People (up to 20% of the population) - ADD/ADHD (over 8%) - Autistics (over 3%) This workshop series will bring you important information about your child's unique traits, needs and helpful coping strategies for their challenges. Overview -- Learning Objectives: 1) Common traits of sensory neurodivergence (HSP/SPS, ADHD/ADD, and Autistics) 2) In-depth understanding of nervous systems' fight/flight/freeze responses 3) Nervous system challenges for sensory neurodivergent people 4) Solution-focused and holistic lifestyle strategies to use at home Logistics -- Workshop sessions will occur weekly over Zoom starting Saturday April 1st at 10am to 12pm. Materials -- You'll receive a PDF slideshow for each session, along with digital handouts to use with your family. You'll also receive a list of recommended reading and resources. Optional Process Group -- Join six 90-minute process sessions to integrate your learning with your family. You'll also be invited to our Facebook group for on-going support. Space is limited to 12 parents per group. Section One starts Saturday June 3rd from 10am to 11:30am, every other week. Section Two starts Saturday June 10th from 10am to 11:30am, every other week.
